Job summary

Infinite Resource Solutions, LLC is seeking a seasoned project leader in Charlotte, NC to manage large and multiple projects within building automation environments. You will own schedules, scope, resources, and financials, driving on-time delivery while balancing customer satisfaction and team development.

The role requires 3–5 years of leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Project and Office. HVAC systems knowledge and onsite commissioning are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of project leadership experience.
• Experience organizing, scheduling and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation projects.
• Building automation/industrial controls experience is a plus.
• Onsite commissioning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for project margin and improving the project's financial health.
• Establish project schedules and monitor progress to completion.
• Forecast project resources accurately.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Present Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to leadership.
• Manage project financials including cost projections and invoicing.
• Draft and quantify change orders.
• Enforce quality plans and monitor quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers.
• Lead large or multiple concurrent projects and coordinate internal teams.
• Analyze deviations from plan and recommend corrective actions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with customers.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Enforce engineering standards and develop PM tools.
• Participate in QMS and contribute to process improvements.
• Demonstrate strong communication, planning, organization, leadership and motivation.

Job description

• Accountable for project margin and takes steps to increase the financial health of the project.
• Establish schedule for projects and carefully monitors project for completion.
• Accurately forecasting resources of their projects.
• Review and monitor potential sources of risk and strategies for mitigation.
• Presents Project Schedule, Scope, and Resource Plan to divisional Director/Group Manager.
• Responsible for project financials including but not limited to:
• Cost projections/cash flow reporting
• Monthly job Invoicing
• Quantify and draft change orders
• Enforces quality plans for projects and monitors projects for quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serves as the primary commercial contact for customers.
• Manages large projects and/or multiple concurrent projects.
• Determine causes of deviations from the project plan or schedule and the recommended corrective actions.
• Capable of negotiating Terms & Conditions with customers.
• Provide technical guidance to project team when required.
• Enforce use of engineering standards.
• Contributes to development of tools that facilitate project management.
• Participates and contributes to QMS.
• Demonstrates excellent communications, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development.
