HandCraft Services in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

You’ll work with PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, and rotating equipment, driving OEE improvements while mentoring teammates and documenting all work. Strong communication and pace suit this fast-paced site.

Formación

• High school diploma/equivalent; relevant technical certifications welcomed.
• At least 5 years in an industrial maintenance role.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and understanding of electro-mechanical concepts.
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting; interpreting manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Comfort with diagnostic equipment for electrical/mechanical testing and measurement.
• Experience with PLCs (including programming and troubleshooting), VFDs, MSPs, and automation components.
• Hands-on with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes, rotating equipment, and precision alignment.
• Fluent in predictive and preventive maintenance approaches.
• Capable of operating forklifts and scissor lifts; physically able to meet role demands.
• Excellent communicator, team-first mindset, energized by a fast pace; schedule flexibility.

Responsabilidades

• Champion safety—follow standards, recognize hazards, and implement fixes.
• Execute proactive maintenance—inspections, PMs, precision alignment, lubrication, and reliability checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair—mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Partner with operations to lift OEE and reduce unplanned stops.
• Record all work—repairs, inspections, and PMs—with clear, complete documentation.
• Coach junior techs and share knowledge across the team.
• Support evolving priorities and other assigned tasks.
