Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking an Automation Manager to lead day-to-day automation execution at the Cidra manufacturing site. This role leads the Automation Technicians team and ensures strong plant-floor automation support, controls reliability, and technical troubleshooting.

Reporting to the NA Senior Automation Manager, you will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and IT/OT to support operational continuity and strengthen the site's automation capability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
5–10 years in industrial automation in manufacturing.
Hands-on with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, instrumentation, and VFDs.
Ignition experience is required.
SAP familiarity for maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Automation Technicians team
Oversee daily automation support for manufacturing, packaging, utilities
Drive troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and sustainable actions
Prioritize technical work and coordinate with plant stakeholders
Execute local automation projects, testing, commissioning, and handoff
Maintain documentation, backups, and recovery readiness
Coordinate OT cybersecurity risks with IT/OT and support resources
Escalate major architecture and lifecycle decisions through NA Automation governance
