The Coca-Cola Company is seeking an Automation Manager to lead day‑to‑day automation execution at the Cidra manufacturing site in Puerto Rico. You will guide the Automation Technicians team, ensure reliable plant-floor controls, troubleshoot issues, and drive local automation improvements in collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and IT/OT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in industrial automation, controls, engineering, or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, instrumentation, VFDs, industrial networks, and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with Ignition required
• Working knowledge of SAP as an end user for maintenance‑management activities
• C1 English proficiency required
• Proven ability to lead technical personnel and manage competing operational priorities

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop the Automation Technicians team
• Oversee daily automation support for manufacturing, packaging, utilities, and related systems
• Drive troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions
• Prioritize technical work and coordinate with key plant stakeholders
• Execute local automation projects, modifications, testing, commissioning, and operational handoff
• Maintain technical documentation, backups, and recovery readiness
• Coordinate OT cybersecurity‑related risks and requirements with IT/OT and specialized support resources
• Escalate major architecture, lifecycle, and exception decisions through NA Automation governance
