Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/EE or related field.
• Experience programming PLCs and supporting automation in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong C# programming skills and PLC languages: Ladder Logic and Structured Text.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley hardware; Siemens knowledge also relevant.
• Experience with SQL Server, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Oracle PI, and web pages.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and how control systems support production.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; quality orientation.
• Ability to work independently and with others; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain servers and IT networks, and develop interfaces between business and process applications.
• Develop, implement, and maintain PLC programs that control manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Program and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs and automation systems to resolve problems and improve performance.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to PLC hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design and optimize automation systems that improve productivity and operating efficiency.
• Follow applicable industry standards and safety regulations in programming and system operation.
• Maintain clear documentation of programming changes, system configurations, and operating procedures.
• Train and support personnel in PLC operation and programming.
• Stay current with developments in PLC technology and industrial automation.
