Job summary

Western Milling seeks an Industrial Electrical & Automation Specialist to support 24/7 manufacturing operations from Goshen. You will perform hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting, AB PLC/HMI programming, field verification, and maintain technical documentation.

You will collaborate with the Electrical & Automation Engineering Manager, progressively taking on greater technical and project responsibility while maintaining safety and reliability across facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in electrical/automation fields or equivalent industrial experience.
3+ years of industrial electrical, controls, or manufacturing experience.
Hands-on AB PLC programming and HMI troubleshooting required.
Experience reading electrical schematics and one-lines essential.
AutoCAD electrical drawing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and onsite electrical/controls troubleshooting for production issues.
Program, troubleshoot, modify, and commission AB PLC and HMI systems.
Troubleshoot distribution, MCCs, motors, VFDs, and control circuits.
Develop and maintain AutoCAD electrical/controls drawings and as-built records.
Support projects from concept through startup and closeout documentation.
