Shepherd Controls & Associates is seeking a driven sales professional to join our Houston team. We are a distributor of industrial automation products, helping manufacturers solve challenges through automation to improve productivity.

You will develop product knowledge, build relationships, prospect new accounts, and deliver live demonstrations while leveraging our broad portfolio and Salesforce to manage a robust sales pipeline.

Competenze

• Experience in industrial automation, controls, robotics, or related technical fields.
• Technical B2B or outside sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field—or equivalent experience.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain a basic understanding of the product lines represented and the industrial automation industry.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers to grow your territory.
• Prospect and develop new accounts through targeted outreach, leads, and networking.
• Provide customers with live product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with the internal solutions group and supplier partners to develop solutions using Shepherd’s broad automation portfolio.
• Present solutions that connect technical capabilities to real business outcomes.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline in Salesforce.
