Qualifications

• Experience with industrial automation systems and controls is assumed.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by complying with codes, regulations, and company directives.
• Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling controls (PLCs, RSLogix 5000).
• First-line escalation for on-site and remote troubleshooting, including after hours.
• Inspect systems to ensure operation meets design specs and client requirements.
• Oversee development, work requests, scheduling, and contractor inspections.
• Engineer process solutions and reliability improvements from concept to deployment.
• Monitor industrial networks (Ethernet, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Profibus) and drives.
• Track material handling metrics and coordinate with site teams on issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders on issues, timelines, and production impacts.
• Analyze failures to implement improvements or retraining.
• Perform controls assessments to maintain equipment reliability.
• Communicate technical issues and impacts with site leadership and maintenance.
• Cultivate positive relationships with client and operations teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.
