Job summary

ElectroCraft, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to improve production processes, labor utilization, material flow, and quality in a small manufacturing environment. The role is hands‑on and plant‑focused, collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience in motor manufacturing or related fields, with proficiency in PLC programming, robotics, and CAD tools. Lean and Six Sigma knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field.
  • 2–5 years of experience preferred in motor manufacturing or similar discrete manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools; able to interpret drawings and models.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production workflow to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Develop SOPs, process maps, and work instructions.
  • Support optimization of winding, assembly, balancing, testing operations.
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Lead installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery or automation lines.
  • Collaborate with quality to ensure process capability and scrap reduction.
