Job summary
Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Controls professional for a glass manufacturing facility in Kansas. You will troubleshoot electrical, PLC, network, and automation issues while supporting installation, upgrades, commissioning, and ongoing reliability in a continuous-production environment.
You will develop and maintain PLC programs and HMI applications, support motors, drives, robotics, and power distribution, and collaborate with plant teams on training and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- 2–5 years of industrial/manufacturing experience in electrical engineering or controls.
- Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with HMIs and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
