Job summary

CelLink is seeking an Automation & Controls Technician for our new mega manufacturing facility in Georgetown, Texas. This hands-on role focuses on troubleshooting and keeping automated equipment running on the manufacturing floor alongside automation & controls engineers, maintenance, and vendors.

You’ll work with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, servo and motion systems, machine vision, and safety systems while gaining exposure to advanced manufacturing as we scale our operation.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in automation or mechatronics.
2+ years' hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
Hands-on PLC/HMI diagnostics and fault correction.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, motors, and drives.
Use schematics and diagnostics to identify faults and restore safe operation.
Assist with installation, startup, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
Investigate recurring failures and participate in root-cause analysis.
Maintain documentation of troubleshooting, repairs, and changes.
