The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Engineering and 5+ years of hands-on maintenance or automation experience, including PLC/HMI work and reading electrical schematics.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on industrial maintenance, controls, or automation.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting across AB, Siemens, or similar platforms.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, motors, sensors, servos, and related components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Willingness to travel 30-40% to support other facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• Provide hands-on support for daily maintenance and production issues involving controls, electrical systems, drives, sensors, and HMIs.
• Develop, modify, and debug PLC and HMI programs to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools.
• Install, wire, test, and commission automation equipment, control panels, motors, sensors, drives, and related components.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities on automated production equipment.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maximize machine performance.
