Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking an Engineering Technician (Seibi Technician) for TBMNC in Liberty, NC. The role focuses on initial machine set-up, improving operation availability, and supporting capital projects from planning to SOP. You will modify machinery and support vendor and internal trials.

Successful candidates bring industrial controls experience, PLC proficiency, and readiness for travel. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are described during interviews.

Qualifications

• IndustrialControls engineering/tech experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems in industry.
• Proficiency with PLCs and relay logic troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel up to 30% (domestic/international).

Responsibilities

• Test and repair electrical equipment and systems including circuits and motors.
• Write and modify PLC, robot, camera, safety system programs.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics in machine components.
• Plan and execute machine integration into mass production.
• Document work performed and support safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
