Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a capable technician to maintain and troubleshoot control hardware and software used in manufacturing processes. You will perform mechanical work, machine tooling changeovers, and safe maintenance on automation systems.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in manufacturing, with PLC, servo, and CNC knowledge and a background in electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems. A relevant associate degree or equivalent experience is required for this role.

Qualifications

Candidate should troubleshoot PLC programming, servo systems, and variable frequency drives.
Thorough knowledge of industrial automation networks, safety devices, and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Basic understanding of CNC and CAD (AutoCAD).
Machine vision and industrial robotics knowledge is a plus.
Mechanical capabilities for changing over coiner tooling and robotic end effectors.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, repair/replace and test automation systems, components, and networks.
Assist engineering, operations, and maintenance with process issues and improvements.
Monitor and adjust robot motions for quality and uptime.
Perform tooling changeovers and preventive maintenance tasks.
Conduct quality checks using micrometers and calipers.
Plan and provide training for department as required.
Lead CI initiatives where applicable.
