Beckhoff Automation USA is seeking an Application Engineer in the Plano, TX area to collaborate with sales and engineering teams, lead technical discussions, and drive successful customer implementations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or automation/mechatronics.
• Experience architecting, building, and commissioning industrial automation systems.
• Deep knowledge of PLCs, motion control, robotics, fieldbus (EtherCAT).
• Proficiency with C#, C++, Python, HTML/CSS/JS.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements and technical leadership with regional team selling.
• Guide technical discussions and provide discovery-driven demonstrations of Beckhoff capabilities.
• Assist customers through prototype and development phases for successful implementation.
• Provide technical input for proposals, BOMs, and application designs.
