Beckhoff Automation USA is seeking an Application Engineer to join our regional team. Based in our Dallas, TX area with a hybrid work model, you’ll work with sales and engineering to deliver Beckhoff technology to customers and lead technical discussions, demonstrations, and development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or automation/mechatronics degree.
• Lifelong learning mindset with a hunger for growth.
• Experience architecting, building, and commissioning industrial automation control systems.
• Deep knowledge of PLCs, motion control, robotics, fieldbus (EtherCAT).
• Proficiency with programming languages like C#, C++, Python, HTML/CSS/JS.
• Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong Windows literacy.
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Team to develop and execute team-based selling strategies.
• Lead technical discussions and provide discovery-driven product demonstrations.
• Guide customers through prototype and development phases, ensuring successful implementation.
• Proactively drive technical issues to resolution.
• Provide technical input for proposals, BOMs, and application designs.
• Advise customers on optimal technology selection, usage, and maintenance.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to empower customers and strengthen relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, project details, and technical activities.
