Job summary
Beckhoff Automation USA is seeking a technically motivated Automotive Industry Application Engineer to shape the future of automation in North America. You will partner with automotive OEMs and Tier suppliers, driving Beckhoff technologies and delivering advanced control and end-of-line test solutions.
In this role you’ll blend engineering depth with customer engagement, write control and test specifications, and deliver compelling technical presentations while traveling up to 30% for customer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or related engineering field.
- At least 10 years experience architecting automation systems and industrial controls.
- Experience in automotive production environments and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Support automotive customers with PC-based control and Beckhoff solutions.
- Guide customers in machine programming, integration and testing.
- Develop TwinCAT applications, demos, and proof of concepts.
- Collaborate with Sales and Industry teams to drive adoption.
- Present technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
