Job summary

Commercial Contracting Corporation in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support scheduling, project buyout, estimating, document control, and management of self-perform teams and subcontractors in the industrial and heavy commercial markets. Projects range from $500,000 to $15,000,000, with occasional travel and varied site locations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of related experience, plus proficiency with MS Office,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years related experience and/or internship(s) with a General Contracting/Construction Management organization.
• Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office suite, FTP sites and document control programs.
• Knowledge of Sage 300, Procore, or Prolog is preferred.
• Strong communication, planning, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to CCC's people-based safety culture and adhere to the safety manual.
• Ensure compliance with CCC standard operating procedures for estimating, purchasing, and project control.
• Collaborate with client project teams, CCC Project Executive, Senior PMs, and subcontractors to achieve project success.
• Maintain positive and open relationships with customers.
• Travel may be required.
• Assist in estimating, startup, construction, and closeout activities as needed.
