Job summary

Whiting Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Assembly/Fabricator to assemble, align, calibrate, and dismantle industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting. You will use hand tools, drills, calipers, and ERP (Epicor) to manage labor hours and job transactions.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts, interpreting drawings, and collaborating with engineers, assemblers, welders, and quality control to ensure specifications are met. A forklift and measuring tape are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in reading mechanical and machine drawings.
• Reading mechanical and machine drawings is required.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape/ruler.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and final product using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Inspect finished pieces for dimensions and conformity to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair products to meet standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and coordinate with design engineers.
