Job summary

Aerotek is hiring Industrial Assemblers for a permanent, on-site role in Shippensburg, PA. You will assemble mechanical components and subassemblies for specialty vehicles and equipment, reading blueprints, and using hand and power tools to meet quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or mechanical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, hoses, wiring, and hydraulic systems using hand and power tools.
• Install accessories and additional equipment according to specifications.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and measurements to accurately position and install components.
• Drill, cut, grind, and modify parts as needed using various shop tools and equipment.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions to complete assemblies.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Move and stack assembled components weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Cross-train in multiple production areas to support manufacturing needs.
