Job summary

Greybull Schools seeks a high school Industrial-Technology teacher to develop and deliver curriculum in welding, wood working and AutoCAD at Greybull High School. You will teach drafting, electricity, metalwork and related subjects while maintaining a safe, supportive classroom environment.

Experience with developing technology education units, assessing student progress, and maintaining records is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelors from an accredited college/university in education discipline or equivalent to obtain licensure.
Masters degree preferred for advanced instructional leadership.
Endorsements/licensing required to teach industrial arts courses.

Responsibilities

Develops and administers technology education curriculum aligned with district goals.
Teaches welding, wood working, drafting, electricity, metalwork and related fields.
Maintains safe classroom environment and adapts instruction to student needs.
Plans lessons, prepares materials, and utilizes equipment to maximize instructional time.
Ensures proper use, care and storage of tools and equipment.
Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Maintains record-keeping, grading and reporting per district procedures.
Engages parents and coordinates with staff to enhance student learning.
Performs other duties as assigned by Principal or administrators.
