Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Applications Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting customer-driven industrial solutions. You will work at the intersection of sales, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver customized solutions and coordinate project execution across departments.

The role offers exposure to technically complex applications, opportunities to interact with customers, and a hybrid work model after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• 2-5 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, process systems, or related industries.
• CAD experience and ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet application needs.
• Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations and product selection activities.
• Create technical proposals, quotations, and solution recommendations.
• Estimate project costs using engineering analysis, historical data, and company tools.
• Serve as a technical resource for customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
• Coordinate project handoffs to engineering teams upon order receipt.
• Support product testing, data collection, and performance evaluations.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and customer training.
• Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and occasional field support activities.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines and priorities.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering tools, processes, and documentation.
