Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an analytics professional to provide decision-support for leadership, applying industrial engineering, operations research, and advanced analytics to improve efficiency, guest experience, and financial performance in a high-volume environment.

You will design models, query data, and deliver dashboards to inform staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and hiring strategies, while collaborating with operations, finance, and technology teams to drive measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Decision Science, or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of applied industrial engineering and operational analysis, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and programming tools (Python, R).
• Experience building production-ready analytics and decision support solutions with standardized metrics and governed datasets.
• Experience applying optimization or operations research techniques in resource-constrained, variable-demand environments.
• Experience influencing operational decisions in real-time or near real-time environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, operationalize, and sustain end-to-end analytical and decision-support solutions using industrial engineering and analytics principles.
• Partner with operational leaders to frame decisions and drive adoption of data-driven solutions.
• Acquire and prepare data using SQL and data pipelines; develop analysis-ready datasets.
• Automate and scale analytics by productionizing metrics, models, and decision logic.
• Develop business cases and dashboards to help stakeholders evaluate scenarios and act with confidence.
• Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
