Sight Machine, Inc. is seeking an Industrial AI Forward Deployed Strategist to lead client engagements as product manager and strategic architect on the factory floor.

You will define what should be built, why it matters, and work with executives to translate needs into working solutions. Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional experience in manufacturing operations or related consulting.
• At least 2 years on a real plant floor weekly, with lessons on data gaps and faulty sensors.
• Ability to build AI-powered artifacts (scripts, dashboards, small apps) for real users.
• Strong strategic thinking turning operational problems into solutions.
• Exceptional communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience orchestrating multi-workstream projects with disciplined prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of client operations and strategic objectives on the plant floor first.
• Define and prioritize use cases based on business value and feasibility.
• Build working prototypes of dashboards, scripts, and small applications.
• Design AI-powered workflows adopted by operators, engineers, and executives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across IT/OT, data science, and BI teams.
