Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of first- and third-party property and liability claims
• Meet with policyholders—often in their homes—to document damage, take measurements, and gather information
• Prepare detailed repair diagrams and cost estimates using industry-leading software
• Analyze coverage issues and clearly communicate findings to policyholders and client representatives
• Issue claim payments in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate, timely claim documentation within our claims management system
• Manage your own schedule and travel itinerary (approximately 75% travel), primarily within New York State

QualificationsRequired

• Active New York State General Adjuster license
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in construction trades or homeowners’ claims (scoping losses and completing estimates)
• Proficiency with estimating software (Xactimate preferred) and familiarity with XactAnalysis
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple assignments
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check

• Multi-line claims experience (property & casualty)
