Job summary

Plus One, an Optum Company, seeks a dedicated Swim Instructor to service an indoor pool at our Beaverton, Oregon headquarters. You will create a safe, enjoyable environment for guests and coach classes while enforcing pool rules and maintaining cleanliness.

CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required. Six months of swim instruction experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required, with growth opportunities and competitive benefits offered by Plus One, part of Optum Workplace

Qualifications

• Six months experience as a swim instructor.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (college attendance preferred).
• Current swim instructor certification and CPR/AED/First Aid: Adult and Pediatric certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for pool guests.
• Coach and support classes and programs as needed.
• Provide emergency services as needed.
• Enforce all policies regarding proper use of pool and pool area.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool area.
• Always maintain a “Member is #1” perspective in customer service.
• Always serve guests with a smile and positive attitude.
