Job summary

SafeSplash Brands, LLC is seeking a Swim Instructor in Bend, OR to teach swimming skills using SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive environment. You will provide constructive feedback and ensure swimmer safety while engaging students in age-appropriate activities.

Availability to work weekday afternoons (2pm–5pm) is required; training for the SafeSplash program and CPR/First Aid certification will be provided or supported as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we will train you.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will get you certified.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills in accordance with SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills.
• Ensure swimmer safety.
• Rotate into team member roles such as Front Desk, Lifeguard, and Deck Supervisor when needed.
