Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors: Bachelors and/or Masters in Business, Accounting, Systems, or equivalent program
• Upon completion of this internship, candidates must have additional academic credits to complete before obtaining their degree and/or CPA eligibility requirements
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
• Coursework or minor in information systems, software engineering, computer science or data and analytics preferred
• Strong technical awareness and agility and ability to apply emerging technologies to enhance tax processes

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with gathering and documenting business and system requirements
• Analyze complex business problems for automated solutions
• Communicate with clients in a timely and effective manner
• Work with cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues
• Develop process documents, data intake forms, tools and work plans for each project
• Understand business rules and apply knowledge to client applications and deliverables
• Build capabilities in AI, Alteryx, Power BI for tax delivery
