Qualification: Any Graduate (MBA from Tier-1 institute, CA, or CPA preferred)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Indirect Tax Manager / Senior Manager to lead complex tax transformation engagements for global clients. This role demands expertise in indirect tax processes, ERP-tax technology integration, and team management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving solution design, leading delivery teams, engaging with senior stakeholders, and contributing to the strategic growth of the practice through thought leadership and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of indirect tax transformation projects using tools such as OneSource, Vertex, or Sabrix.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities by building strong internal and external networks.
• Lead client workshops and discussions to gather requirements, assess challenges, and recommend optimal tax solutions.
• Prepare project plans, business cases, resource estimates, and solution options.
• Manage project execution ensuring quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Oversee and mentor project teams (5–10 members), ensuring continuous learning, performance, and productivity.
• Develop thought leadership content on tax innovation and regulatory changes.
• Drive initiatives related to recruitment, training, and capability development within the team.
• Foster and manage strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven implementation experience with OneSource, Vertex, or Sabrix.
• Strong functional understanding of indirect tax types including VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax (SUT), Withholding Tax (WHT), and Digital Compliance Reporting.
• Deep expertise in finance business processes relevant to tax (O2C, S2P, R2R).
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle and external tax tools.
• Minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementations of ERP or tax technologies.
