Job summary

Ohio State University seeks a Sourcing Analyst 2 to support Indirect Sourcing, contracting, and supplier management across a broad range of goods and services. You will partner with Indirect Commodity Managers, Sourcing team, stakeholders, and suppliers to execute sourcing initiatives and support contract negotiations and lifecycle management.

The role involves managing small sourcing projects, supporting larger initiatives, analyzing spend data, coordinating contract reviews, and driving cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years’ work experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Preferred: Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field.
• Work experience in Purchasing, Healthcare or related field 2 to 4 years.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Managing small-scale sourcing projects
• Supporting larger strategic sourcing initiatives
• Analyzing supplier proposals and spend data
• Coordinating contract reviews and approvals
• Supporting contract renewals, amendments, extensions, and implementation
• Maintaining supplier and contract information
• Supporting supplier performance and issue resolution
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings, standardization, supplier consolidation, and process improvement

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field

2 years’ work experience or equivalent education and experience

2 to 4 years work experience in Purchasing, Business, Healthcare or related field

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
