Job summary

First Quality is seeking an Indirect Procurement Senior Manager to lead the procurement of indirect materials across AbHy plants and drive cost savings. The role requires strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cross‑functional collaboration to standardize spend and optimize processes.

You will manage a team of buyers, approve requisitions, and develop policies that align with company purchasing standards. Occasional travel (~30%) to AbHy locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply chain, or equivalent manufacturing operations experience.
• Experience negotiating, analyzing costs, and managing supply chain or procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct/coordinate indirect procurement of materials, supplies, parts, and services across AbHy plants.
• Develop supplier relationships and lead negotiations with vendors.
• Design policies for the indirect procurement department aligned with company policies.
• Identify cost savings initiatives and drive process improvements.
• Lead and mentor a team of indirect buyers across multiple locations.
• Establish measurable procurement performance metrics and report to leadership.
• Approve requisitions across multiple plants and provide spend analytics.
• Support development of cost‑effective parts and substitute equipment.
• Collaborate with finance, plant leadership, and cross‑functional teams on savings goals.
• Create procurement documents such as requisition summaries, RFPs, and RFQs.
