Job summary

Castelion Corporation in Torrance, CA is seeking a Buyer to join Indirect Procurement. You will help purchase goods and services across facilities, MRO, equipment, tooling, software, and office needs.

This is an early-career role requiring organization, commercial curiosity, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers to issue POs, obtain quotes, track deliveries, and maintain records in Castelion’s ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Up to two years in purchasing, procurement, or related function.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders for indirect materials and services.
• Review requests for completeness, accuracy, and required approvals.
• Obtain supplier quotations and assist with evaluating pricing and terms.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on scopes, delivery dates, and requirements.
• Monitor open orders and communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
• Support supplier onboarding and maintain accurate procurement data.
