Job summary

WCL Group client in Coppell, TX seeks an Indirect Procurement Associate Buyer to support MPC-US Production Operations. The role focuses on independent work, process improvement, cost efficiency, and supplier management within a responsible governance framework.

The position emphasizes optimizing procurement activities, implementing tools like ERP and MRP, and driving efficiencies across the supply chain. Onsite role with 6-month term and potential extension.

Qualifications

Minimum 0–2 years of Procurement or SCM related experience.
Strong understanding of procurement operations and ERP systems.
Experience or knowledge of MRP, MPS, and WMS operation.
Advanced Excel skills: data visualization, pivot tables, macros, formulas.
Strong analytical skills to interpret procurement data and drive decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
Experience with procurement systems (SAP preferred).
Demonstrated ability to lead and execute process improvements.

Responsibilities

Design and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and lead time.
Lead integration and management of procurement tools (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS).
Evaluate and streamline end-to-end procurement processes for automation and efficiency.
Oversee supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with standards.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of POs, supplier agreements, and inventory management.
Use data analysis to monitor procurement trends, supplier performance, and inventory.
