Job summary

W&C Suspensions is seeking a procurement professional in McKinney, Texas to ensure continuity of supply and manage vendor performance. This role focuses on sourcing goods and services, evaluating bids, and optimizing total cost of ownership across divisions.

You will develop supplier metrics, handle non-conforming materials and warranties, and respond to NAFTA requests while maintaining accurate ERP records. Strong Excel and ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline; CPM/CPIM/CPSCM preferred.
• Proficient with ERP systems (Oracle, JDE, SAP, QAD) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with NAFTA/IMDS and export compliance is a plus.
• Strong problem solving, communication and time management skills.
• Track record of cost savings initiatives and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate supply problems.
• Solicit bids, prepare specifications and coordinate bid process across divisions.
• Minimize excess/obsolete material and manage inventory reserves.
• Develop and audit vendor performance records and recommend corrective action.
• Manage Non-Conforming Material and Warranty processes and respond to NAFTA solicitations.
• Compile data and submit monthly Purchasing scorecard; maintain ERP supplier master data.
