Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking an Indirect Lending Credit Officer to evaluate loan quality by underwriting indirect consumer loans in accordance with policy and guidelines. You will work with auto dealerships to clear underwriting conditions and ensure that members and dealerships receive market-leading service.

The role requires 1–5 years of related experience and an Associate's Degree, with open availability Monday–Friday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM and Saturdays 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of related experience.
• Associate's Degree in business or related field.
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and lending policies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan quality by underwriting indirect consumer loans in accordance with policy and guidelines.
• Work with dealerships to clear underwriting conditions and required documentation.
• Ensure that members and auto dealerships receive market-leading service with emphasis on credit quality and market share growth.
• Review and determine approval of indirect loans submitted to Lending Authority.
• Decide loan applications and communicate decisions to relevant staff and external vendors.
• Adhere to underwriting procedures and validate required documents.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts via phone and email.
• Provide consultative feedback to increase product knowledge and understanding of decision conditions.
