Redwood Credit Union seeks a Dealer Relationship Officer to cultivate dealer relationships and grow the indirect lending program within the Consumer Lending department. You will market to new and existing dealers, assist in auto brokering, and train staff in indirect lending functions.

The role partners with the Consumer Lending Indirect Manager to organize, develop, implement, and train across indirect lending processes. A strong emphasis on customer service and confidentiality is required.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of a PC with word processing, spreadsheet, and loan origination software, and intranet and internet access.
• Thorough knowledge of consumer loan products offered by RCU.
• Thorough knowledge of lending principles, practices, rules, regulations, and sales.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Arrange weekly dealer visits to discuss and sell RCU loan products, services, build auto brokering relationships and add dealers to Dealer Service program.
• Assist in developing overall plan for dealers to have a full relationship with Redwood Credit Union and RCU Auto Services including loans, auto sales brokering and service functions.
• Communicate policy, product, and pricing changes with dealers to ensure quality Member service.
• Educate dealers regarding lending decisions to ensure dealer network adheres to RCU policy and procedures.
• Organize joint auto sales promotions with dealers to strengthen dealer relations.
