Tyson Foods is hiring for a 1st shift position in the United States. The role involves fast-paced work, repetitive motions, and the need to operate in a cold environment with temperatures between 28 and 42 degrees.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 70+ lbs and be willing to work overtime and weekends when required. Qualified candidates must have at least 3 months of operator experience, be certified in pallet jack and forklift operation, and demonstrate a commitment to Tyson's safety

• Needs to be able to label, organize and align pallets in cooler.
• Is required to become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation.

• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.

Pay: $16.90

Job Description:

• Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on shift posted.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
• Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees.
• Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion.
• Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs.
• Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs.
• Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment.
• Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Requirements:

• Must have 3-Months operator experience listed on the application (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months).
• Needs to be able to label, organize and align pallets in cooler.
• Is required to become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation.
• Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
