Qualifications

• 2–4 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience purchasing capital equipment, indirect materials and services.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Working knowledge of RFIs, RFQs, supplier selection, and PO processes.
• Experience with ERP systems; Odoo knowledge a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement for capital equipment and indirect purchases.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Execute RFIs, RFQs, RFPs; evaluate proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, terms, warranties, schedules.
• Create and maintain purchase orders and documentation.
• Coordinate capital equipment from PO to delivery and acceptance.
• Manage indirect commodities such as equipment, supplies, software, licenses.
• Maintain supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
• Monitor supplier performance and raise concerns as needed.
• Support cost-saving and consolidation initiatives.
• Resolve supplier issues including price, delays, or damage.
• Maintain purchasing records per policies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Communicate updates to stakeholders.
