Job summary

Arizona Financial Credit Union seeks an Indirect Lending Underwriter to review and decision indirect loan applications from dealer partners and strategic lenders. You will assess credit risk, verify borrower capacity and collateral quality, and exercise delegated authority to approve, counteroffer, or decline while balancing member experience and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years in consumer loan underwriting, including 1 year in indirect lending underwriting.
• Experience with auto loan underwriting and indirect dealer lending programs preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to explain credit decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review indirect loan applications, credit reports, collateral valuations and related information.
• Apply lending policies and delegated authority to approve, counteroffer, or declinet applications.
• Communicate funding conditions and lending decisions to dealers and partners.
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations and internal policies.
