Harvard University is seeking a Community Coordinator for the Native American Program (HUNAP) to assist in planning and executing student programming, events, and outreach efforts across campus.

You will engage with Indigenous communities, support admissions collaboration, and help build relationships with student groups, faculty, and partner departments to promote Indigenous perspectives and student success.

Qualificações

• Three or more years of related experience; Education beyond high school may count towards experience.
• Understanding and deep engagement with issues affecting Indigenous peoples
• Familiarity with the academia and outreach roles of highly selective universities and public service

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute program events with guidance from leadership.
• Coordinate logistics, facilities, budgets, and speaker arrangements for student-centered events.
• Engage with student organizations, campus partners, and university entities to ensure successful events.
• Create email communications for faculty, students, alumni, and campus community.
• Develop and implement a social media strategy to inform students about opportunities.
• Attract prospective students by answering inquiries from students and families regarding admissions and resources.
• Support recruitment and outreach to Indigenous communities in collaboration with Admissions Teams.
• Build relationships with programs and departments to promote Indigenous perspectives.
• Contribute to program goals by performing related duties as required.
