McFarland Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead day-to-day operations for our Indiana market. This role oversees multiple concurrent projects, develops the project management team, and partners with executives on strategy and growth.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership, financial acumen, and willingness to travel across Indiana. McFarland offers competitive pay and a robust benefits package to support you and your family.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction.
Experience managing and developing project management teams.
Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide operational oversight across Indiana projects ensuring schedule, budget, safety and quality standards.
Lead, mentor, and manage the Indiana PM team to ensure alignment and accountability.
Define office structure and clarify roles with executive leadership.
Identify and pursue new business development opportunities in the Midwest.
Partner with HR and leadership on recruiting and developing PM talent.
Monitor workload and morale; address retention risks.
Serve as primary liaison between Indiana office and executives.
Oversee project financials including budgets and forecasting.
Adapt staffing plans to market conditions.
