Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking MDs and DOs to join as mobile wound care physicians in nursing facilities across Texas. You will provide hands-on wound care, make clinical decisions, and own patient outcomes while we handle contracts, billing, and overhead.

This role offers true autonomy with no hospital politics, no call, and no weekends, plus a streamlined software platform to reduce admin time and strong earning potential through base pay and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Note: Residency not required; Board Certification/Eligibility not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities.
• Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes.
• Operate as an independent contractor with 1099 status.
