Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking MDs and DOs to join as mobile wound care physicians, transitioning from hospital settings to independent practice in Texas.

As a 1099 provider, you will deliver hands-on geriatric care in nursing facilities, make clinical decisions, and control outcomes while we handle contracts and billing. The role offers true autonomy with no overhead, no nights, and no weekends, plus company training and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Must hold an active Texas medical license.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted DEA license.
• Residency completion and board certification/eligibility are not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wound care to geriatric patients in nursing facilities as a mobile physician.
• Make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes; we handle contracts and billing.
