Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Edmond, OK is seeking a Private Practice Therapist to deliver evidence-based psychotherapy in an outpatient setting. The role involves conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to support client well-being.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists and other clinicians, provide crisis intervention, educate patients and families, and maintain compliant EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work preferred.
• Experience in private practice and substance use preferred.
• Independently licensed (LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) in good standing; provisionally licensed accepted.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, and state/federal regulations; background check and TB testing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy based on client needs.
• Conduct intake evaluations, including history, mental status, and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and deliver crisis intervention when needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
