Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Surgical Technologist in Liberty Township, OH. You will be responsible for scrubbing in all surgical specialties, maintaining patient safety, and supporting perioperative teams within Liberty Surgery.

The role requires an accredited surgical technology credential (CAAHEP/ABHES or equivalent military training), plus 2+ years of related experience and active certification. This is a full-time on-site position with a strong emphasis on teamwork and clinical

Qualifications

• Associates degree in surgical technology from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited program (or military training in surgical technology).
• 2+ years of work experience in a related surgical tech role.
• Maintains certification via continuing education activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient safety and high-quality surgical care; ensure safety for patients and staff at all times.
• Scrub in independently for procedures across surgical specialties and assist as needed.
• Mentor coworkers on equipment safety, anatomy knowledge, and perioperative practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, CMS, and accreditation standards within the department.
