Job description

As a Jostens Independent Sales Representative (1099), you are highly motivated and interested in building your own business. You are entrepreneurial in nature and want more out of life than just a job.

YOU HAVE:

• Passion: Contribute to a positive and rewarding school experience.
• Sales Skills: Relevant and proven sales and/or sales management experience (consultative, educational, B2C).
• Highly Disciplined & Self-Motivated: Demonstrated personal accountability for your own success and development.
• Relationship Management: Success in developing new business and maintaining customer relationships through great customer focus.
• Technical Skills: Strong business and financial acumen.
• Great Communication Skills: Enjoy acting as a true business partner and communicating effectively with stakeholders and customers.
• Flexibility: Regional/territory and national travel required (percentage varies depending on territory location and demographics).
• Experience: Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of related experience.
• Education: A 4-year degree is preferred but not required.

YOU WILL:

• Grow: Gain market share through customer and prospect development.
• Develop: Build and maintain customer relationships and work effectively with school administrations, organizations, their advisors, teachers, and students.
• Advise: School administration on products and services offered by Jostens.
• Ensure Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws related to the services performed for Jostens.
• Maintain: An independent business office.
• Operations: Responsible for all business expenses, including travel to facilitate sales.
• Team Development: Hiring, retaining, and compensating an office and sales staff as needed.
• Integrity: Represent the Jostens brand and shared values of accountability, integrity, responsibility, and respect.
