The Opportunity

We’re seeking a go-getter sales professional who doesn’t wait for leads—you go find them. This role is for a motivated contractor who can network, cold-call, and build relationships through platforms such as LinkedIn, chambers of commerce, and local business communities.

If you thrive on cold outreach and understand how to position web services to small and mid-sized businesses, you’ll excel here.

Your Role

  1. Use LinkedIn, directories, and networking events to prospect for businesses needing website design, development, or redesign
  2. Attend local chamber events (virtually or in-person)
  3. Conduct cold calls/emails to generate interest
  4. Qualify leads and pass them to the internal team for proposals
  5. Maintain basic tracking of outreach and deal flow

What You Bring

  1. Experience in sales (especially in web development, marketing, or creative services)
  2. Confidence in cold calling and working leads from scratch
  3. Strong communication and presentation skills
  4. Familiarity with CRM tools and LinkedIn prospecting
  5. Independent contractor mindset — self-motivated, organized, and outcome-driven

Compensation

  1. Commission: 25% of all closed project revenue
  2. Retainer: Modest monthly amount to support outreach consistency
  3. This is a 1099 contractor role — you will be responsible for your taxes and benefits
