Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Alexander, Pulaski, and Massac counties in Illinois. You will be the brand ambassador, building agronomic knowledge and strong customer relationships while driving sales in a large territory.

You will develop and maintain technical knowledge of Stine seed products, recruit and manage accounts, and collaborate with regional agronomists to support sales programs and policies.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of ag experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques with strong negotiating skills.
• Experience in dealer development and retention.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the assigned territory.
• Manage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals for the district.
• Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller.
