Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Henderson, Hancock, and Adams counties in Western Illinois. You will serve as the brand ambassador, develop agronomic knowledge of Stine seed products, and drive sales across an assigned territory.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in agricultural sciences or seed sales, strong communication, and proven skills in sales, negotiation, and dealer development.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of ag experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques and negotiating skills.
• Track record in dealer development and client retention.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and build relationships with growers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand in the assigned Illinois territory.
• Develop agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products for the territory.
• Manage existing accounts and recruit new ones to grow sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine sales programs and policies to meet district goals.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, directly or through a designated seller.
