Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Wallace, NC for project-based store support and merchandising initiatives. This independent contractor role offers a flexible environment and opportunities to impact the customer experience while representing leading brands.

You will build strong partnerships with store teams, execute planograms, and deliver accurate merchandising results across multiple stores on a varying schedule.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organization, time management and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with merchandising and visual presentation.
• Comfortable using smartphones and reporting applications.
• Planogram experience is a plus.
• Retail, merchandising or consumer goods experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotions with attention to detail.
• Build and maintain relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and feedback using mobile tools.
• Communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates to stakeholders.
• Manage schedules and store visits to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain quality, professionalism, and accountability across assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.
